Understanding the discipline in practice

INTEGRITAS examines the connections across all five disciplines. A team may improve its own measures while transferring delay, uncertainty or risk to another part of the organization. The integrating layer follows the same decision and evidence across boundaries to test whether direction, execution, priorities, warning and continuity remain consistent.

Use it when a problem spans several functions or when an apparently successful local change creates difficulty elsewhere. For example, a new commitment must be authorized, executable within available capacity, monitored for changing conditions and supported after the initial team moves on. Examine those relationships together. INTEGRITAS is a mastery layer, not a sixth scored discipline, and it does not confer organizational authority.

The organization can explain how its decisions fit together and demonstrate that an improvement is sustainable beyond one function, project or individual.
