Dean Palmiere is an executive operator, advisor and transformation practitioner with more than 15 years of experience improving performance across asset-intensive, regulated, multi-site and transformation-driven environments.

As founder and Managing Director of Black & Right, he has led more than 400 engagements involving procurement operating models, governance frameworks, category strategy, sourcing methodology, supplier development, operational transformation, commercial execution and organizational stabilization. His work spans mining, industrial, energy, construction and public-sector organizations.

His approach combines direct operating accountability with embedded executive leadership. He is known for stabilizing operating systems, strengthening procurement and supply-chain governance, aligning cross-functional teams and building practical controls that hold under pressure.

Dean created Verto Claritas as a connected architecture for direction, execution, strategic choice, prevention and continuity. The firm is owned and directed by Dean, who leads the design and execution of institutional mandates while building the client capability required for the work to endure.
